Catch The Pigeon Game

The internet can be a strange and confusing place — especially when your whole childhood is ripped from your grasp in a heartbeat. This time, we’re heading way back to the ’70s to watch Dick Dastardly and Muttley try and ‘catch’ the pigeon.

As a spin-off of the famous Wacky Races, the Hanna-Barbera cartoon had the villainous duo join a squad of flying aces known as the Vulture Squadron. It was their job to stop Yankee Doodle Pigeon from delivering messages to the other side.

Due to Rooster not being able to catch the pigeon he wants to try again. Hold up another bird and wait until he stops and stands still. Give the release command and throw the bird. The dog is positively reinforced for stopping and pointing.

  1. Klunk is an inventive designer. Each episode sees him developing aircraft or weapons (often missiles which home on some bizarre trait, such as a person sneezing) with odd features and attachments designed to catch Yankee Doodle Pigeon. Ironically, there is an episode called “Stop That Pigeon”, which can be found in the first segment of the fifth episodes.
